With over 38 years of experience in the engineering & construction industry, Mark is an independent project management consultant and an energy transition implementation specialist. He offers his expertise and guidance to clients across the energy transition, oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, mineral processing and industrial sectors, as well as coaching to aspiring and current project managers who want to advance their careers and overcome challenges.

Mark is also an award-winning project director and a former vice president of operations at Petrofac, a leading EPC contractor. He has successfully delivered multiple large-scale and technically challenging projects in various regions, such as the US$3 billion Al Taweelah Alumina Refinery project in Abu Dhabi, one of the largest non-oil and gas industrial projects in the UAE. He has a proven track record of leading integrated and diverse teams, managing contracts and risks, optimizing costs and schedules, and ensuring quality and safety standards. Mark holds an MBA from Cranfield University and is certified in blockchain applicability and capability for project management. He is passionate about driving excellence, innovation, and sustainability in the energy industry.
